Pstereo is one of Norway’s biggest music festivals, and takes place in magnificent surroundings at Marinen in the city centre of Trondheim. The festival is known as the town’s musical, culinary and social arena for experiences and entertainment.

Pstereo offers two types of festival tickets: FESTIVALPASS, which gives access to both festival days to a discounted price, and the DAGSPASS, which gives access to all concerts taking place on a given festival day. One day passes will be available from 10th of May.

Festival passes cost 2199,- NOK. The price will rise several times as we near the festival.

Pstereo plus is the festival pass for those who want something extra to bump their experience. The plus pass gives access to a closed off ID20+ guest area with a bar, wardrobe and better sanitary facilities.

Festival passes for students or people younger than 26 cost only 1499,- NOK.

Dagspass comes for sale on the 10th of May. Price: 1299,- NOK.

Tickets are non-refundable. Pstereo is a festival and refunds are only given if there is a total cancellation of either the entire festival or a single day at the festival.

When you get to the festival your original ticket will get changed to a wristband. You must wear this during the festival as it grants you access in and out of the festival area. There are two different wristbands, depending on if you have a one-day pass or a festival pass. If you have the festival pass you only get one wristband during the festival period.

If you want to leave the festival area you must wear your festival wristband or you wont be let back in once you have left.

There are no wardrobe options at the public area of the festival.

The festival takes place at the historical Marina right in the middle of Trondheim City Centre.

In addition to a large selection of direct flights to Trondheim, you can also arrive by train, bus, cruise, ferry or car.  There are daily flights to/from Trondheim from Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Kraków and several other European cities.
There are several options on how to get from the airport and to the city, such as train, bus, airport bus and taxi.

The airport Bus stops at Bakkegata, which is right next to the festival hotel Scandic Hotel Bakklandet, and at Nidarosdomen, which is right next to the festival area.

Pstereo’s festival hotel is Scandic Hotell Bakklandet.

This is located in the nicest part of town Bakklandet, just a short walk away from the festival area.

The hotel experience is tailored for a perfect festival weekend by the Nidelven river:
You can change your ticket for a wristband at the hotel

Come work with us!

Each year more than 500 volunteers work together to create the Pstereo festival, and we can not do so without you. This is a wonderful arena to network, make friends and gain experience.

So, here is the deal: you work with Pstereo for one day and we’ll give you a day pass, as well as lots of new friends, a volunteer t-shirt, and food and snacks for the duration of your shift. If you work two days, you get the entire festival experience for free.

You have to be 18 or older by the 18th of august to volunteer for Pstereo. No formal qualifications or organizational experience is required to volunteer at Pstereo.

Our awesome team of volunteers are divided between several sub-groups such as riggers, decorators, bar, drivers, runners, info, photographers ++. More info and descriptions of each group can be found in the application form.
